Musical «Songs of Fairy-Tales» gets a Certificate of Merit |

Musical Songs of Fairy-Tales, the first one amongst those, composed by Lisa Monde and staged in 2007, is having a successful four-year-long run on stages of Moscow as well as other Russian and foreign cities. It has recently been awarded a Prize of IV International Contest, called The Musical Heart of the Theatre, for composing a musical for children.
We congratulate all those who worked on the musical or played in it to make a really brilliant show for children.

On June 11, at the President Hotel, the Mayaki Otchizny All-Russian Business Contacts Club held a round-table meeting with the topic of “Social Responsibility as a Locomotive Power of Modern Society”. In the end of the event there was a concert, in which Vardan Marcos, a violinist, and Lisa Monde, a singer, took part.

Тhe current year has been declared to be Year of Equal Possibilities by Y.M. Luzhkov, the Mayor of Moscow.
Lisa Monde, who always actively participates in charity projects, this time has initiated a new yearly project, called Free Theatre Ticket, intended for disabled persons with limited capacities. Now Art-Voyage XXI Theatre Centre has entered the project, and it is ready just by a call to supply any disabled person who encounters a difficulty when walking or has to use a wheelchair with tickets for its performances (musicals Villon, The Witches of Eastwick, Sky Falcons and an intended-for-children musicals Songs of Fairy-Tales, Hallow! A’m Pippi, and Adventures in Enchanted Forest. The theatre is equipped with special ramps and rest rooms.
‘Come to us on February 27, at 19.00, we are waiting for everyone: for our dear visitors, for representatives of the Department of Culture, Social Security Department, Education Department, Prefecture of Yugo-Voctochnyi Administrativnyi Okrug and District Board, as well as for representatives of creative intellectuals and actors, together with those heads and producers of Muscovite theatres who are ready to join the Free Theatre Ticket project and participate in it. L.O.V.E: Last Performances of the Rock Opera in December, 2008. |

In December you may visit the last premiere performances of Lisa Monde’s rock-opera L.O.V.E (staged by Regis Obadia). In 2009 the performance is touring a number of foreign countries.
The nearest performance will take place on December 13 on the stage of Teatr Kinoaktera theatre in ЗЗ Povarskaya Street (booking office telephone: 290-28-11; corporative requests telephone: 650-77-94).
An album with a record of the new opera, on which together with Lisa Monde also Vlad Topalov, Nikita Pozdniakov, Natalia Afanasieva as well as others worked, will be sold in the foyer of the theatre together with a colourful booklet and souvenirs, decorated with a logo - styled to look like a tattoo - of the name of the pock opera, which is an abbreviation of its longer title: Little Odd Voyage оf an Extraterrestrial.

Lisa Monde has written her Cartoon Film Song. It has been written specially for the chief children’s festival of the year, dedicated to Children Protection Day. On this occasion, the Government of Moscow and its Education Department prepared a wonderful gift for Muscovite children: a Grand Festival in Lizhniky (Moscow). The festival was given the name of Cartoon Film Big Parade, and it lasted for three days, from May 30 to June 1
